Summer time

We bought a cabin.

I am so thrilled and overwhelmed at the same time to be the owner of a log cabin in the mountains. It is not as easy as you may think to find a cabin in the mountains for sale, must less a true log cabin. My husband and I thought we would have to build one as we never dreamed we would be able to buy one. But here we are!

The location is up a fairly steep road and then up a second steep road, but the view of a gorgeous reservoir and mountains are worth the climb. It is the perfect writer’s retreat and I am anxious to do some writing while relaxing in the outdoors.

Idaho tops my knowledge index, so Idaho gets featured in my writing I am a fifth-generation Idahoan and have a lifetime of tales and lore from my ancestors. Fortunately, I love researching almost as much as I love writing and reading, therefore, expanding my knowledge and breadth of writing.
