Marvelous Monday

I hope you have a Marvelous Monday, darling, just marvelous!

I think it was one of the Gabor sisters that said “marvelous, darlin’, just marvelous”. It always brought to mind people dripping in grace and elegance, and, of course, money. To a young girl with none of the above and about as far away from New York as you could get, the Gabors were something of a marvel to me. And while most of it was for show (they were actresses after all) they had tapped into what was unique and amazing in them and let it shine for the world

That is my goal for today. Find what it is within me that Marvel would turn into a superhero and use that to make the world a better place. OK, world may be a little far reaching, but definitely my little corner of the world.

I suppose if you want to identify with a cartoon character, like Spiderman or Thor, that’s cool. But I’m thinking more about what is unique to you and letting it shine, more like the Green Lantern. Sure, the ring chose the guy and made him a super hero, but it made that choice based on the qualities and essance that person had within him to begin with.

We all have that something something within us, we just have to believe in it and let it shine.
