Morning walks

Weekend mornings at our house always start with a morning walk. Today was not exception, but the walk was – exceptionally nice.

The weather has been typical Idaho spring conditions – wind, rain, and a little snow mixed in for good measure. This morning the temperature was a crisp 36 degrees, but the sky was robin egg blue, no rain and no wind. We walked outside our little neighborhood to the farm fields. It was completely refreshing to be outside and not harried by the pressures of work and society.

Of course, Titan’s nose never left the ground. I’m very thankful for him because without him we would never go on walks. Sure, we grump and groan when he starts huhrumping, prancing, and whining, begging us to take him out. He adds so much to our lives and health, a daily walk isn’t that much to give.
